Cholecystokinin (CCK) and glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) concentration in porcine intestinal cultures exposed to Lys. CCK and GLP-1 secretion using an ex vivo jejunum (A) or ileum (B) culture from young pigs. Tissue cultures were incubated for 1 h with a KRB/HEPES buffer containing 0 (control), 10, 20 and 30 mmol/L Lys.
